Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions apply to all services at LIV lab in Luzern and are included, in their current form, as part of the customer contract.

 

1. Terms of Payment

All classes and/or events at LIV lab are to paid in full before the begin of the class/event. Services can be paid at our location in cash or with debit/credit card. A number of services can be paid for on-line with on-line booking system MindBody using a credit card. Completed payments will not be reimbursed.

Certain user groups, ex. students, receive discounted prices on services at LIV lab. A valid ID card is to be presented on location to benefit from discounted prices. Discounted prices can only be bought and paid for on location at LIV lab.

Payment via invoice in only available in exceptional circumstances and must be personally requested. Invoices must be payed within 10 days of the date of invoice. For each late warning LIV lab will invoice an additional CHF 20. In the case of a failure of payment, LIV lab reserves the right to cancel the membership.

 

2. Memberships

All LIV lab memberships are irredeemable, personal and non transferable.

2.1 Membership Duration

The duration of LIV lab memberships are binding. The duration validity of all memberships can be found on the LIV lab webpage. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform themselves about the valid duration of their membership. Payed for and not used or incomplete use of a membership will expire after their validity period. LIV lab denies all claims for reimbursement.

2.2 Membership validity period in case of Illness or Accident.

In the case of illness or accident, current memberships can be extended for a maximum of four weeks. A request for membership extension must be sent in written form via letter mail or e-mail (hello@livlab.ch) no later than 7 days after the occurance. A copy of the medical form is to be presented. Membership extension requests after 7 days of the occurance will not be considered. LIV lab denies all claims for reimbursement.

2.3 Vacation and/or Business related Absences

In the case of long term absences, selected memberships have the option to be extended:

2-Month Membership : maximum 5 days extension

3-Month Membership : maximum 10 days extension

Annual Membership : maximum 30 days extension

The validation period of all other LIV lab memberships cannot be extended.

 

3. Registration and Cancelations

Registration for all LIV lab classes/events are binding. Free of charge cancelations must be made within the following deadlines :

Regular Class

No cancelation necessary, but appreciated

Private Lesson

latest 48 hours before the appointment

Workshops / Seminars / Lectures

latest 24 hours before the event

Education Programs   

latest 14 days before start

Retreats

latest 2 months before start


LIV lab reserves the right to invoice customers the full amount of the participation cost in the case of non-arrival and/or not abiding to the cancelation deadlines.

 

4. Changes to scheduling, class/event offers, prices and opening hours.

LIV lab reserves the right to make changes to the schedule of classes/events, the teacher team, pricing, and opening hours at any time. LIV lab denies all claims for reimbursement.

Any above mentioned changes will be communicated to customers via e-mail, through social media and/or on the LIV lab webpage.

 

5. Data Protection

Every LIV lab visitor is required to register before their first LIV lab event/class. With their registration the visitor confirms their knowledge, understanding and acceptance of the LIV lab General Business Terms and Conditions. All LIV lab visitors personal information will be saved in our customer system MindBody, treated with utmost confidentiality and will not be shared with unauthorized third parties. To delete personal information out of MindBody, a written request must be sent via e-mail to hello@livlab.ch.

E-mail addresses will be used, if the customer has check marked the box in MindBody or on the paper registration form, to send automated information (ex. A reminder before the membership runs out) and for the sending of our Newsletter.

To stop receiving newletters, the «Unsubscribe» button must be clicked in a previously received newsletter.

Occasionaly e-mail and/or mail addresses will be used to send the customer relevant LIV lab offers.

Occasionally pictures and/or video will be taken during a LIV lab class and/or event. In this instance visitors will be informed ahead of time and have the option to inform LIV lab if they do not wish to be fotographed or filmed. The foto and video material will be used for LIV lab marketing purposes.

Please be aware of the Data Protection Regulations and Privacy Policy from LIV lab. 

 

6. Liability

Every LIV lab visitor is responsible for their own, and for any underage persons in their care, health and wellbeing during and after all LIV lab events/classes in LIV lab premises or in external premises/locations under the name of any LIV lab event.

Any physical and/or mental complaints, also pregnancy, must be indicated to the teacher before the event/class.

LIV lab denies all liability for injury and/or accident in all LIV lab premises and external event locations. LIV lab denies all liability for follow-up and/or re-occuring injury and/or damage. Every LIV lab visitor is responsible for their own insurance.

LIV lab denies all liability for loss and/or damages of personal valuables and/or property brought to the studio. Every LIV lab visitor accepts full liability for their own personal property and valuables. Valuables can be taken into the class/event room during the class/event. Cellular telephones must be turned off or to silent.

 

7. LIV lab Shop

LIV lab denies all warranty and/or garranty for products that are bought at LIV lab. In the case of defect or damaged articles, the customer must contact and send their claims directly to the product provider.

 

8. House Rules

The proposed House Rules are in effect. All House Rules can be read online.

 

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Applicable law is Swiss law. Jurisdiction is Lucerne.
