Yoga StYLES

  • Align & Flow
    Aalign and let flow
Focuses on Alignment of the Asana while enjoying the flow of movement from one pose to the next, and the awareness of the flow of breath and energy through the body.
  • FUSION FLOW
    A creative trilogy

In this class traditional Yoga meets elements from Pilates and Barre. The foundation of Fusion Flow is a focus on stability, alignment, and posture. With a flowing dynamic and a focus on our breath, we move through the movements which will sometimes be repeated in series.

  • Yin Yang Yoga
    The celebration of duality

In this class we experience a balancing mix of passive «cool» Yoga postures (Yin) with more dynamic «warm» postures (Yang). Through the intelligent combination of asanas you will feel more grounded and at the same time be filled with revitalizing energy. Tensions and blocks within the body can be released, the breath flows freer as does our life-force energy (Prana).

  • Vinyasa Flow / Lunch
    Let it flow...

Vinyasa means «the movements between movements» or the linking of asanas. Here, we flow from one posture to the next creating a dynamic sequence of asana and breath. In this intensive practise you will improve your strength, balance, flexibility and concentration. You will practice awareness of breath, movement, and relaxation in an innovative combination to rejuvenate the body and mind.

  • Restorative Morning Flow
    Recover, release & restore

After a short meditation we gently and consciously flow from stretch to stretch. We take our time to stay in each position long enough to release tension and to find relaxation and lengthening in each muscle. Towards the end of the class we shift into more restorative positions to even expand our relaxation. We complete the lesson the way we’ve started it: with a seated meditation. You will walk out of the studio feeling relaxed, recharged and ready for the day.

  • Hatha Yoga
    The Classic

With traditional Hatha Yoga we can experience an easy to understand Yoga practise at a moderate tempo. Through focus on asana, breath and meditation we create balance between body and mind. Leave your daily stresses behind and give yourself time to focus on You.

  • Rise & Smile
    Smile please!

After getting up in the morning we have recharged our batteries and have new energy – the perfect time to stand on your Yoga mat! We start this class with a few minutes of breathing techniques to get the circulation going. Then we move into an asana sequence that will turn the corners of your mouth upwards, inside and out. Carry your smile into your day and share it with the world. You’ll be surprised what might happen ;-)

  • MOBILITY FLOW
    Increase mobility

Focuses on functional movements to increase mobility, range of motion, flexibility and strength. A dynamic class which is fun, challenging and will leave you feeling strong and energized.

  • IYENGAR YOGA
    Use of props

Deep focus on the study of alignment and action of the asanas during longer holds. Often use of props such as belts, blocks, bolsters, and sometimes chairs. Suitable for all levels and beneficial for healing of injuries, pain and physical limitations.

  • Yin YANG RESTORATIVE Yoga
    Reset button in Yoga form

Slow awareness is the secret to wellbeing – and a real challenge. With the support of Yoga props (blocks, cushions, blankets, etc) we smoothly move into each asana and stay a while, three to five minutes. We practise active and gentle tension release simultaneously for body and mind.  We allow our body to experience deep stretching and even deeper relaxation and release. The monkey mind is quieted, giving space for your inner observer and listener. We create inner stillness and at the same time fill our batteries with new energy.

  • Yoga Open
    Let yourself be surprised

For this class our teachers are in rotation. That means that depending on the teacher you’ll always get a different Sunday class, hence the name. Let yourself enjoy the moment, no expectations, no judgements... experience the moment as it comes and be ready for a new week.

By the way: The Yoga Open lesson on Friday evening runs under the motto «We are Family». Because you are allowed to bring your 10- to 16-year-old kids to the class. Of course you can enjoy the lesson for yourself and without company.

Note for pregnant women

In general a Yoga practice can be beneficial during pregnancy. Important is that you inform the teacher before the class about the state of your pregnancy and health (of course in private if you wish). Our teacher team has expereince with pregnant yoginis and can inform you about which asansa and pranayama you should not practice during pregnancy.  For pregnant women who want a particularly gentle practice, the following yoga styles are suitable: Yin Yang, Restorative Morning Flow, Slow Flow, Deep Hatha, Hatha, Yin Yang Restorative and Yoga Open.
